Max height box jump 33 1/4

Randy rx'd 6:17 personal best is 6:08, so 9 seconds slower. I did try to focus on all the drills and hitting each one but I know I wasn't finishing, especially once I got tired.

The party is ON tomorrow, Saturday from 4pm on. Hopefully the worst will be over by then and some folks can't come Sunday so let's stick with the original plan. Hey we're Crossfittters - neither wind nor rain or ... (oops wrong organization!)
Anyway the birthday boy is prepared to BBQ in the rain if necessary so please all come!!
Did 10 plus 2 on the Wod this morning - so happy to be swinging that kettle bell again.

Max Box Jump - 31 and 3/4 I think...regardless, 4 inches less than my best ?!! I'm blaming Karen and my tired legs ;)

WOD: 10 + MUs and HSPUs: Jumping MUs at 56", and semi-assisted HSPU (can I call them that Jim??! I'm excited either way!!) and 1.5 KB swings. I enjoyed NATE today!

Nate Rx'd (Mostly as one of the two KB's I swung was only 1.75pood) - 7 rnds & 2 Muscle Ups.

Having alot of trouble of late getting comfortable with the HSPU's and I don't think Josh helped

WOD:

4 rounds + 1 MU

First 3 rounds were Rxd under SD's watchful gaze.

Last round, I didn't get all the way to ground on HSPU.

Only 1 failed MU attempt out of 9 - ended up doing 9 MUs in 20 minutes...that's almost 1 every 2 minutes, which is faster than I've ever done them.

Should have listened to my girlfriend...

Nate w/3:1 Pull Ups and Ring Dips: 7 rounds + 2 HSPU

Been getting 2 consecutive Muscle Ups lately, but could only bang out 1 in the 1st round of the WOD, so switched to the sub. Ran off to get some gloves mid round as my hands haven't totally recovered from Josh.

THEN,

Amanda tried to get me to stay in tonight, saying we had to be on our way somewhere for 7:00, but I so stubbornly came for a WOD anyway. Made it back home in good time, got thrown in a cab, blind folded ,and ended up right back at the box to see a bunch of my buddies waiting, all ready for a workout!!!

Varp:

200m Run w/ 20 lb Med Ball
26 Ring Push Ups
Run 200m w/ Ball
26 L Pull Ups
Run 200m w/ Ball

Amanda, Andrew, Sarah, thank you again. I honestly couldn't have imagined a more fun way to start a Birthday. All my friends on the other hand... lol

It was just awesome to see a bunch of people who always hear me babble on and on about CFK show up for a WOD at the same time! It's something I'll never forget (they won't either!), that's for sure! Wow.

Ryan, thanks for omitting the Birthday punishment.

If anyone is up for some drinks, a whole gang of us will be downtown tonight, the more the merrier!

OUCH!!! Those med ball runs sucked!!! DLs and ring push-ups were the easiest parts.

So much for resting because of a sore throat. This WOD looked like a blast after seeing Varp, Amanda and all their friends do it.

Jamie, we really enjoyed putting this on for you and your friends tonight! Glad you all enjoyed it. Next time listen to your girlfriend ;) Have a great night out tonight and we'll see you tomorrow at the Duncan's! :)
